The PIXIE Smart Aircon Controller for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries is designed to integrate compatible MHI ducted air conditioning systems into the PIXIE smart home ecosystem, providing convenient control of your air conditioning alongside your lighting and other PIXIE devices. Once installed, users can control power on/off, select the operating mode, adjust the temperature setpoint and change fan speed through the PIXIE system.
The controller operates as an RS485 bridge, communicating with an Intesys MODBUS-RTU interface which connects to the X+Y communication terminals of the compatible MHI indoor unit. Each indoor unit requires one PIXIE RS485 Controller and one compatible Intesys interface. The standalone controller is available separately, or kit PC2185/R/BTAM/KIT/MHI1 includes the required Intesys MODBUS-RTU interface for the MHI installation.

Important Compatibility Information:
Designed for compatible Mitsubishi Heavy Industries ducted air conditioning systems that support MODBUS-RTU integration. Unlike the DAIKIN version, MHI indoor units support only one wired wall controller. When the PIXIE RS485 Controller is installed, an MHI wired wall controller cannot also be used. Compatibility should therefore be confirmed with the air conditioning contractor before specifying or installation.
