The PIXIE Smart Aircon Controller for DAIKIN™ is designed to integrate compatible DAIKIN™ ducted air conditioning systems into the PIXIE smart home ecosystem, providing convenient control of your air conditioning alongside your lighting and other PIXIE devices. Once installed, users can control power on/off, select the operating mode, adjust the temperature setpoint and change fan speed through the PIXIE or PIXIE PLUS app. The controller connects directly to the P1 and P2 terminals of the compatible DAIKIN™ indoor unit, receiving its 24V power from the same connection. One PIXIE Aircon Controller is required for each air conditioning indoor unit.
Using PIXIE Bluetooth Mesh technology, local app control is available without requiring Wi-Fi. The controller can also be combined with an optional PIXIE Smart Zone Controller to provide integrated control of up to 8 x 24V AC dampers, with a further 8 dampers supported by adding another Smart Zone Controller. The aircon and zone controllers communicate through the PIXIE system and do not require a physical connection between them. The standard DAIKIN™ wired wall controller remains installed and the PIXIE Aircon Controller operates as the second controller on the indoor unit.

Important Compatibility Information: The standard DAIKIN™ wired wall controller is still required. Compatibility is limited to supported DAIKIN™ ducted indoor-unit models, so I would not describe this as compatible with all DAIKIN air conditioners.
