The Trader Dimpala DIMR Universal Eclipse Dimmer provides smooth rotary dimming control for LED lighting and a range of other compatible lamp types.
Optimised for dimmable LED lamps and drivers, the DIMR has a low 2W minimum load, making it suitable for modern low-wattage LED lighting installations. It is also compatible with incandescent lamps and 12V halogen (dichroic) lamps and transformers.
The DIMR uses a separately switched two-wire design, meaning a separate light switch is required to turn the lighting ON and OFF. No neutral connection is required at the dimmer, making it suitable for many wall plate retrofit applications.
Rotary control provides straightforward brightness adjustment, while the minimum brightness level can be mechanically adjusted to suit the connected lighting load. Soft-start operation helps prolong lamp and driver life, and an LED indicator provides a convenient indication when the circuit is on.
Designed to fit common Australian wall switch plate apertures, including Trader, HPM and Clipsal, the DIMR provides a versatile dimming solution for new installations and upgrades.
