The Trader Dimpala DIMRRIP Rotary Trailing Edge Dimmer provides smooth LED lighting control with improved ripple tone rejection to help minimise flicker caused by power-line signalling.
Designed specifically for modern dimmable LED lamps and drivers, the DIMRRIP uses trailing-edge dimming technology and supports loads from just 2W up to 300W. It is also compatible with incandescent lamps and 12V halogen (dichroic) lamps and transformers.
Its separately switched two-wire design means a separate light switch is required for ON/OFF operation, while no neutral connection is required at the dimmer for wall plate retrofit installations. Minimum brightness can be mechanically adjusted to suit the connected lighting load, with a typical minimum brightness of 0%.
Soft-start operation helps prolong lamp and driver life, while built-in ripple tone rejection makes the DIMRRIP particularly useful in installations where electricity network ripple-control signals may otherwise cause noticeable LED flicker.
Designed to fit common Australian wall switch plate apertures, including Trader, HPM and Clipsal, the DIMRRIP provides a flexible solution for new installations and dimmer upgrades.
Optional replacement knobs are available in a range of finishes, allowing the dimmer to be coordinated with your chosen wall plate and interior.
